Filming - 10th June 2005

Way back in May I was contacted by a studio who were filming a series about suburbia. One of the programmes was to be on gardens and what people do in/with them. Our railway appealed to them and we arranged for a days filming. I will retract the previous statements I made before. I think we survived and came off not too bad. It was a nicely editted short on the railway. It also showed up quite a few of our products in close. Publicity not to be sneezed at.

Just a word of warning about anyone who wants to film you and your railway. Just remeber they will see you and your railway from a different prospective. We found that what is a family railway, turned in to two people -(almost loners) railway. It is easy to get swept up with the glitz of TV but be warned you may be portrade in a matter which might not be that complimentry.
