This body was built to fit on a Bulldog chassis. Having a large heat sink on the 70 amp contoller limited space so the batteries had to be split (one in the trailing coach). After the control board main capacitor started smoking we realised that the practice of splitting the batteries is not very good.
Because of the vertical mounting of the control board on the Trojan, all that is required is to turn the batteries side ways.
The body is built from 6mm plywood with 2 layers of 3mm for the roof and 3mm ply for the smoke box. The chimney and steam dome are made from an old table leg.
