A couple of views of the loading bay.

"Blackadder" This engine spend most of the day out on the line and not exactly taking it easy. It really showed off the robustness of the Polly range

I am not really a fan of raised track, but the set up at Ruddington was one of the finest example I have seen. The double track traverser made the operation of adding and removing train very easy and allowed locos to take a break without holding everyone up. The railway is also encompassed by a 7.25" gauge railway.

12" to the foot

As an added bonus on the day, the Northampton and Lamport's Polish tank engine was giving footplate rides and driving experiences up and down the yard.
