Portable Track Connectors
PNP Railways track is ideal for portable tracks. The 2.5m lengths make it easy to handle and the combination of aluminium rail and plastic sleepers means that you can easily fit 50m on a car roof rack.
From experience we found using fishplates too fiddly and time consuming for a portable set up. With this in mind we designed a connector plate which traps the rail using four 5mm bolts. Using an electric drill with an 8mm socket track can be joined in seconds.
The connector plate has reversible guides so they can be used on 21mm rail.
