Custom Locomotives

Currently our 7 1/4" locomotives are based on our power bogies. As a personal project I was part of a team to build Chingford Model Engineering Club a new battery electric locomotive. The loco is loosely based on Captain Howey from the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway. The loco is well equipted with on board battery chargers, vacuum pump, solenoid parking brake, to mention a few of its features.

The locomotive has acted as a good test bed to prove our designs and workshop capabilities. Due to the amount of work involved in such engines we would provide individual quotes upon request.
