Trojan 5

Built with the batteries turned sideways this loco is destined to take the wooden Thomas body and the Y6. Although the Y6 will fit with the batteries fitted length ways they do show in the front can.

Left - on test on the work bench
Right - Close up of the battery tray. This is made from two piece of angle with stop ends and a locating bolt welded on. This is done so that if at a later date I want to swap the batteries around all I have left is 4 holes.
Left - Shot with the prototypeY6 body. Clearly showing the gap left at the front by turning the batteries around.
