Trojan 6

First Trojan to be supplied ready to run.

No. 6 sitting on Nick Godrey's turn table

Optional extras / commissioned work

Left - Loco with the top removed showing the location of the speakers for the engine and horn generators. Speakers are mounted in the cab roof space but not attached to the body.
Right showing - key battery switch, charging plug and the battery for sound boards. this battery is neccessary as the noise generator boards are suseptable to voltage fluctuations which the main batteries would give. These fluctuations would effect the pitch and sound output of the boards.
Left close up of the exhaust pipe. Constructed from metal conduit, 22mm plastic pipe, aluminium strips ( punched from behind for rivot detail) and a lot of car filler.
Right - the speed govenor pot - also a reversing switch (right) bypass plug (in socket) and horn switch (left). The bypass plug effectively acts as if the handheld controller was on full. The engine can then be driven by the dash mounted controller which would normally act as a speed governor.
