We will be attending with a trade
stand. I do not intend to bring tons of bits and pieces but a
select few items. I am also intending to set up a short
demonstration line to try and show some of the small gaugers how
a 5" gauge railway will actually fit in their garden. If you
are intending to go to the show and would like to see a specific
item please email and I will see if we can fit it in/on the car.

Jasper Prices
Finally I have worked out the
prices for our new Jasper chassis
£480 for the two motor chassis kit
£580 for the four motor chassit kit
Supplied with our standard
couplings although can be supplied with pin slot couplings as an
optional extra.
The first new body for this
chassis is due for delivery in the next couple of weeks.
I am currently reviewing our
control panels and will be offering a range of different styles.
I am doing this after seeing numerous engines being built and the
supplied control panel being discarded.
Multi pin couplings
featured last month - Prices are
now in - 2 slot £20, 3 slot £25 and can do 5 or single slot if
anyone wants.
New Riding Truck
I have a limited number of longer
4 wheel based driving truck. The chassis length is 660mm. The one
I have at the moment will go around our 11ft radius curve but
that might be down to the gauge widening from excessive wear. Is
available with or without brakes but no body at this moment in
time. Prices are similar to the standard 4 wheel truck with only
£10 extra for the braked version as I have to weld up the draw
bars.
SHOP
Finally I have managed to build a
few stock items to sell off the shelf.
Unfortunately we are very limited
for space so it will only have a few items.
Our Portable Track
We had a wonderful day out at our
local school at the Romford O Gauge Exhibition.
This is our third time in the
school corridor and as is now a tradition we added to the set up.
This time we built a pair of
points to create a siding so we could easily run two trains. We
were also joined by a lovely scratch built western. Although not
finished this is an amazing machine. I hope Barry will return
with this loco when we set up at the more popular November show.
Our track was a little long so a
couple of chairs were used rather than cut the track.
