Twin Motor Direct Drive site sit loco

Based on two of our commercial motor sets Bluey Chassis offers a simple locomotive chassis for heavy hauling without the need for complexity. The simple mechanics are virtualy maintenance free while offering the ability to pull larger trains.
The large chassis is designed to take anything from 2 to 6, 110ah lead acid batteries allowing for even the longest running days.  Idrive motor contrtoller is consealed in the chassis leaving the upper deck free for custom body work or you can ask us to build you something. The locomotive is driven from a handset or a dashboard on the driving truck. The steeple cab body is my own trial using 2mm steel with

  • Chassis is supplied ready to run
  • Can accommodate up to 6 x 110ah batteries.
  • Locomotives are made to order. Motor/gearbox assembly comes from Italy and have a minimum 8-10 week lead time before we even start assembly.
  • Name Bluey came because I painted my steeple cab in blue and the name blue loco became Bluey by my wife. Who am I to argue with?
