SAFETY

Every coach will be supplied with a full "Operation and Maintenance Manual". This has full instructions including maintnence regimes and log book. As a passenger carrying vehicle we recommend basic checks everytime before use and a major inspection and sign off at least every six months.

While a coach will not tip over, the design of a good station will help with those who may cause issues. To tip an empty coach (plywood ver) you need to be over 100kg and stand on the sole bar of the chassis. This is highly unlikely but just incase good track design can ensure there are never any issues.

Importance of a platform

It is essential that track formation is made up around the track to help incase of a derailment. Ballast should always be brought up to the level of the top of the sleepers.

Good formation helps with stability
